I have an image that I am trying to burn to a cdr and I want it to be able to play back on my dvd player. When I try to burn the file with nero it says the file is too big. It is 708mb, while it says the maxium says on my disk is 703 mbs. Is there any way that I could burn this file to a disk?

Mode 1? Is it a VCD or SVCD?

If so dont use NERO Express but NERO proper.....upto 810-820mb is acceptable in mode 1 (a la vcd/svcd/some pc games).

It is a kvcd. I've tried using nero burning rom but it still says the file cannot fit on my disc

Is it an image file? (.iso...or another image format..BIN, NRG etc)...if its a KVCD (image) the same rules still apply..its a MODE 1 burn....

Thank you for your help, I burnt that image file and it plays fine on my dvd player. I am now having problems with a second image file(.cue). In Nero it says "An error occurred while loading the cue sheet file (Line 1)" Is there any way to fix this?

Open the .CUE file with NOTEPAD (open with RIGHT MOUSE CLICK>Properties) and check the .bin file it states is GRAMMATICALLY correct....errors arent allowed..it must point at the .bin 'word perfect'..and mode 1).

Cue files are merely 'burn parameters' for a corresponding '.bin' file..and MUST match perfectly within the "quotes". If not, burn as an .iso/or edit the .cue.

Once again, thank you. I had already checked the .cue with notepad, but I seemed to have missed a folder when I typed the .bin file's location.
