i am simply trying to add permanent subtitles to my .AVI, but when i try to select the .SRT file from the TextSub plugin, nothing happens! the textbox to the left of the "Open..." button is blank, and i cannot click "OK". what is going on?

by opening the .SRT file, copying all of the text, and creating a new .SRT with notepad, virtualdub seems to like the new .SRT. i checked the file permissions on both .SRT files and they were identical. talk about an annoying bug. now on to my next problem.....
