I have a few video clips that are 512x384 in size. I want to create a DVD using Adobe Encore DVD 1.5, however it will only accept clips that are 720x480, 720x486, or 704x480.
I also have a copy of Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0, so I was wondering what would be the best way to resize the video clips into the proper format that Encore will accept, preferably using Premiere Pro? Is there a way to pass on a Premiere Pro project to Encore DVD without having to encode with Premier, that way I keep the videos at the best quality possible?
All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to reencod somewhere along the line, either in Premiere, Encore, or with a standalone encoder.
You can look up the help files in Premiere for resizing, but it might be as simple as loading the avi into Premiere, then selecting a correct output format. Problem is that Premiere will probably stretch the video and distort it.
Simplest solution - use DivxtoDVD to convert your avi files to DVD, demux them out to video and audio streams, load these into encore to create menus.Read my blog here.
