    I think that my question resumes all I need to know. I want to make an "invitation material" for an event and send it through the internet and many guests don't have a macintosh. So, they would need to see it with the Bill Gates's Windows Media Player.....

    but many should have DIVX.
    Save it as either an QT movie or as
    an DIVX .AVI from Quicktime Pro.
    (you must have the DIVX 5.21 codec installed)

    Your sequence:
    From FCP-->File-->Export-->Quicktime.
    then from QT Pro:
    QT Pro-->Export-->Quicktime to DIVX AVI.
    set frame rate at 30fps, click ok.

    another option is mpeg 1. Its not efficient like divx but it is universally playable without additional codecs on PCs and Macs.

    Use compressor and choose an mpeg1 preset.

    It's not free, but I've been getting great results with Compression Master. Well worth the hefty price tag if you often encode streaming formats for web clients (including wmv).
