I made a VCD with 4 segments each 20 minutes long. Then I made an auto run command using the code below. I burned it on a disk with nero. Now when I put the disk in my pc it opens the first track but will not let me skip ahead. How can I fix this? Do I need to modify my auto run command?
[autorun]
open=start mplayer2.exe /play /close \MPEGAV\avseq01.dat

That approach is pretty limiting. For one thing, newer versions of windows don't have the start command.
Your best bet would be to find a VCD player that you can include on the disc, and have your autorun call that player instead. Roxio includes a pretty good one with VideoPack5, or you might be able to get one off the tools page on this site to work.

Writing an asx file allows the >| button to skip to the next video. It is sad that the format is so limited that it does not allow for menus or choices.
