    Hi,

You can create a ac3 dvd in tmpgenc dvd author. You just can't edit it in tda without the plugin.

You can edit projects with ac3 with tda but you can't hear the audio in preview or create ac3 with tda without the ac3 plugin.

True. I've found a little work around though... Convert your ac3 file to .wav and you'll be able to hear it in TMPGEnc DVD Author. I typically already have a .wav version of my .ac3 file sitting there anyawys, so it's not a big problem. If you don't have a .wav copy, use besweet or something to convert ac3->wav (don't worry about complience or anything - this is just for editing). Change the audio in TMPGEnc DVD Author to the .wav file, do your editing (with sound), then simply re-select the .ac3 file for your soundtrack. The editing (start/stop/chapter points) are not effected my selecting a new audio file.
