is there any one click way or faster way of stopping unnecessary processes in windows XP. when i play games like DOOM3 or HalfLife2, i like to stop some of the processes in windows xp which are not needed to boost my pc performance, by killing the unnecessary processes one at a time at the services.msc. Any faster way to do this...i check blackviper.com but doesn't have any tool to do this...

I've heard of a program called end-it-all but I think that is for start-up programs and the like. I get a web page under construction for Blackviper.com in both FF and IE..... do you still have access to it?

If you do look up the profile page, you can set up profiles for whn you boot. One for normal and one for gaming/video.

All right thanks for the link. That is an excellent resource and I missed it quite a bit when it disappeared.
