Eventhough the VirtualDubMod can open vob files, it seems it can't serve the audio of those vob files, through the *.vdr files ones, to any encoder. .

So demux the audio, or extract to WAV, then use that ???

    ... or try virtualdub-MPEG2 ?

What audio is in your VOBs ?
What audio do you want to end up with ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Ok, but I wish we would not have to waste our time doing this.

And I guess that the virtualdub-mpeg2 can't open vob files.

Well, I'm certainly no mind-reader ..... and I can't see your screen from here. So .......

... maybe I know a better way to do things, if you could tell your situation in just a little more detail ?

What do you think is inside VOBs ?

    MPEG-2, perhaps ?

I wouldn't have recommended it if I didn't think it could do the job

    https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Virtualdub-MPEG2

Virtualdub mod with MPEG2(SVCD, DVD, VOB) import support.

... and I'm only assuming that your first post here was a question, and not just a comment ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks a lot man. It did work. But now I have another problem. I guess as you know, I have been looking for an dvd author program that could let me add a lot of movies in a same program chains. As you told me, the tmpgenc dvd author does this, but it doesn't handle subtitles and first play movie.

I was trying the dvdauthorgui, but seems that it doesn't handle wav files, and I only know and have encoder that create wav ones.

ffmpeggui, besweet, belight ... the only audio tools you'll ever need, and they're all free
    If in doubt, Google it.
