I downloaded an "LNFA1098.ES5" file( for 5005 DVD Recorder) from Liteon. They said something about software-Nero-to burn it to an ISO. Do not have Nero. How do I get this ES5 file in a form to burn to a cd so I can upgrade the firmware. Liteon site sucks in this regard.

*.ES5 files are not burnt by DVD Decrypter in their present form. How do I get this file in a form that I can copy to a CD and upgrade the firmware?
Where can I get usable firmware ?

Go to site www.ss3f.com/ilo. goto the LiteOn site.
Follow instructions. They have the firmware and hacks and files in ISO or Nero image.

I don't know if the 5005 can be hacked [there is a model that can't] , ask Guitarman at site www.techolio.com. He has threads with complete instructions for firmware instalation.
