    Here is my situation: I have Win DVD Copy and Dazzle DVD Complete. I used Win DVD Copy to convert a DVD to AVI since Dazzle DVD Complete only supports AVI and one other (not DVD). I edited and made chapters and so on with Dazzle DVD Complete. I want to now convert the edited AVI file to DVD. How do I do this? I tried to put the edited AVI file onto a blank DVD and blank CD with no luck whatsoever. Is it possible with the software that I am using to convert back to DVD from an edited AVI? I am a brand newbian. Any help in layman's terms would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Thanx for not being rude. I did do some searches on this website and found my answers, hence the post to the forum. Anyway, if you read my question, you'd see that I'm not looking to purchase something, rather I'm looking for answers to whether I can already do an AVI to DVD conversion from my existing software.

    I have no idea if you can with the software you have.

    But if you searched in the tools sections you would find that there are a number of free tools that do that conversion. THIS is a list of all the AVI to DVD tools.

    In this list you will see that the following all do the conversion you are after;

    Avi2Dvd, AviDemux, bbMPEG, DIKO, DVD2SVCD, The Film Machine, TMPGEnc etc etc

    <edit>
    PS a little digging (in the tools section!) tells me that WinDVD is just a player and that Dazzle DVD Complete doesnt appear to support AVI input.

    PPS. Of those tools I would suggest TMPGEnc (although can cause problems) it seems well iked in these forums.
