Hi all.
I own a JVC DR-MH20 SEF recorder (it is a PAL one) I have some questions about that. I searched this forum but have not found answers about them.
I've read that this machine can make high quality two-pass encoding from HDD to DVD. But I do not know how to activate that feature. It that transparent to the user? Or is that available in certain modes only?
My other question is that when I dub from HDD to DVD will the video be reencoded? I guess that it will when the source is bigger than 4,3 GB, but what happens if (i.e.) I make a record to the HDD in XP mode that is 55 min long then dub to an empty DVD disc (video mode)? Will that be reencoded, or just copied to the disc?
And what if the video is 55 min (XP mode) and I select "JUST" dub? Will the video be reencoded to fill up the entire disc?
My last question is that if I "JUST" dub something to DVD and I want to reathor the disc (adding chapters and menu to it) will everything fit on the disc?
Is the space reserved for the menu, or the menu is placed somewhere else on the disc?
