Howdy.
I have only been using TMpGEnc 3.0 XPress for a short while. Up utill now the avi to dvd conversions I have done have been great-(on the default settings)
The problem I have now is quite strange. I have converted a avi file to dvd last night and before I converted it the picture was a little dark. So I used the Filter tab in the program(colour/lumination) to correct the problem.
That has turned out quite well.
The problem is with the sound in the resultant MPEG file. The sound is faster than normal and is also out of sync with the video. The sound on the original avi file was fine before the conversion.
The avi file is Xvid
I havnt had this problem before with the program. I have converted xvid before with it and it has worked fine.
Can anybody guess as to what may be the cause of this problem and guide me towards correcting it.
Thanks

I had to deocompress the audio to Wav. I used AVI Audio decompressor v.1.4
Once I loaded the decomprssed audio into the Audio source in place of the combined video and Audio that was in the original avi file, and encoded to mpeg all was sweet.
Audio synced and right
Thanks again
