    Hello,
    I have an Xvid movie and .srt subtitles for that movie. I would like to know how can I convert the Xvid movie to DivX and at the same time add the subtitle to that DivX movie?

    Adding subtitles is covered in the HOW TO section: https://www.videohelp.com/edit#5;20

    Xvid and DivX are both avi formats...no real reason to change them.

    XviD is not an avi format. It is just a video codec which although can be used in avi can also be used in numerous other containers.

    Should be able to use fuse to mux to a DivX file with subs.
