    Hi all,
    I have have installed a new motherboard Gygabyte 7vm400m-rz.
    It has a new CPU Sempron 2800+.

    Setup win xp pro with sp2 and all the drivers and all goes well until I put in a ATI 9250 AGP video card and onboard sound is gone.
    I have gone to the Gigabyte site and there are as useless as tits on a bull.
    I did however download the latest VIA audio chipsets.
    I would like to know if ANYONE has a simple answer to this problem.

    Ensure onboard sound is enabled in the BIOS.
