    Hi,

Do you have other applications running? See if some program didn't shut down. Does it happen on a clean restart?

    Hi,

You could always try uninstalling the authoring program and reinstalling it. Maybe it got corrupted somehow.

no, i use nero and dvd-lab pro. and they're both fine. I just want to know if they are supposed to use that much memory and if getting a faster computer may help this. I thought 1.5GB of ram would be more than enough but am i expecting too much? What I would really like is some opinons on what an ideal computer sholud have for video editing and burning of dvd's?

Memory usage or CPU usage? 100% CPU usage doesn't surprise me for any of those activities.

  7. You rarely see memory measured in percents. Indeed 100% CPU usage is very common with applications like these.
