Can this be done?
Is there any way to trigger the parental control of my DVD or TV with a burned (S)VCD?

No this is not possible. SVCD does not support that feature.
SVCD does support some forms of protection/censorchip but only when played on a computer, and even then it requires a ridiculous amount of effort to set up and I think its also ridiculously easy to bypass. -
Catarro why do even want the Parental Control Feature???
you got some nasty videos you want to keep away from the kids????

Maybe the kids have got some nasty videos they want to keep away from the parents

You might find the DVD player has the parental control per disk, my Sony can be told to ask for a pin number for each disk. The disks are all diffrent but are not made in any special way.

Better yet, how about some parental control on the kids. For example how about putting them on leash?
