    I have an avi movie and I wish to save as avi file in a 700 MB CD. How do that?

    1h 36m 51s
    Toast: 6.0.9
    Mac OS X 10.3.9
    PowerBook G3 500Mhz 512MB SDRAM

    But is he asking save the DATA on the CD or save it
    to where it is PLAYABLE as an avi on a DVD player?

    I’ll bite. Set Toast to ISO 9660, an Advanced setting in the Data tab. It has less overhead than ‘Mac Only’ and ‘Mac & PC’. That should make it fit. Set Naming to Joliet to preserve long file names.

    Depends on if the player is Divx Enabled....
