I want to rip a photo gallery from a dvd but donno how to do this. Can someone give me some guidelines on how to do this?

Hi,
You can use the capture image option available on powerdvd and other software players. Just pause the image and save the file as a bmp or jpg.
Other ways are to use dvdshrink and locate the area of the disc that has the still images if its in a gallery format. Then you can back them up that way.
