diko error

im trying to use diko to encode from avi to dvd but after atarting the encoding process i get the following message
loadplugin: unable to load "c:/program files/DIKO/avisynthplugins/removegrain.dll

ive tried reinstalling but cant seem to get it to work, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

does that dll file exist in that location? Can you manually start an AviSynth script with that plugin? Do you have the correct version of Avisynth installed, and only that version?

the removegrain.dll file is in the plugins folder and i only have avisynth 2.5.2 installed, ive never used it before so not familiar with it . i just dont know what to do to get it working.

Read that error message, my question, and your answer carefully.

I did not ask if the dll was in the AviSynth\Plugins directory, I asked if it was in the directory specified in the error message. Note that these are NOT the same.

If that's not it, then either the plugin is corrupt or does not match that version of AviSynth.

Is that a cut and paste of the error message or did you re-type it? Cause the slashes are wrong.
