Hi all! Just a quick question, will probably just require a quick answer, but this is really screwing me up. I am using ICOPYDVDS2 and I get the DVD read, but when it goes to copy, nothing happens. It is almost like I am using the wrong blank DVD's to burn. When I bought it the guy at the computer store gave me DVD-R discs to use, should I maybe be using DVD-RW? Any response would be awesome, thanks!

  2. DVD-R should be fine for what you are doing.
I'm not familiar with the software you are using, but if you can give some more details as to what is happening when it gets to the writing stage maybe someone can help you.
Have you taken a look at the website for this software ?
There is a support section that appears to list some common errors.
Do you get any error codes ?
If so I would take a look at there support page and see if you can find the answer to your problem there.
You can also search the knowledge base there aswell.

Disc type won't matter providing your burner supports the format, manufacturer may. Doesn't sound like that's the problem anyway.

If it's a commercial DVD that software is probably useless, look to the left under the guides section. Most of the guides use tools available for free suchs as DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink....

    I agree,
I use DVDdecrypter and DVDshrink and have no problems so why pay for software that doesn't appear to work!
If you have no success with my earlier suggestions I would recommend boxing that software up and taking it back to the store where you purchased it.
Then get yourself back here and download DVDshrink, DVDdecrypter and DVDFABdecrypter.
Then take a look at some of the guides on this site.
This should get you going with no problems for any NOOB with half a brain
