When I try to encode some avi-files to DVD (mpeg2enc) I get blocks and the quality of the encoded file is much worse than the original avi-file.
I've tried to increase the bitrate for better quality etc but I get blocks whatever I do. The blocks appear when I watch the result in the application DVD-player and I have not yet burned the result to a disc but I doubt that the result will be better on a disc than as a file...
How can I increase quality?
