  1. I would like to extract an audio clip from an mpeg movie, edit it and then use it in DVDlab in a menu for a dvd project? I have editing software for
    wav files. Any help appreciated.

    Hi screwup,

Load your MPEG into VirtualDubMod, and save out the audio to a WAV file.

VirtualDubMod is a popular tool, and so there'e bound to be guides too. Check the "How To" section, on the left...

  3. Thanks Daamon. Will VirtualDub also convert the wav back to mpeg or something dvdlab will accept? TIA

Just add the mpg and the wav in dvd-lab, wav is supported if you make it 48khz with no compression. You can also compress the wav to mpa or ac3 with ffmpeggui or belight.
