Problem after converting divx to dvd

I used avi-dvd and the guide posted to convery a divx file into a dvd format. Everythign worked find and the program made an iso file to be burned with dvd decrypter. I burned the iso and the dvd plays fine but I have no sound. Ive tried buring with nero the indiviual dvd video file and I get the same result. HOw can I get it to have sound

no sound on your computer or standalone dvd player?
how do you play the dvd on your computer?
what audio settings did you use in avi2dvd?

This was on a stand alone dvd player that I tested it on Let me go back and see what setting I had using avi-dvd. THis is my first time using it so im not to familar with it

On choose audio stream the only option selectable is audiostream 1 mp3 2ch
