    Im trying to conver .MKV to .AVI like Divx/Xvid Vdub Mod doesnt handle .MKV very well anymore....


    And MKV Exstract doesnt handle it well the audio is longer than the video once exstracted...

    Can someone help me convert this .mkv to .avi im not above buying software if i have to.... Thanks

    Have you checked out the GUIDE section to the left of this page yet ?

    I would recommend taking a look there first.

    Take a look at the 'HOW TO CONVERT' section and you will see a box which says 'Format Conversion' here you can select your conversion type, then click on 'Search or List Guides' and you will be given all the guides for that format.

    if virtualdubmod, mkvextractgui and mencoder doesn't work you can't do much...

    maybe avimuxgui and http://www.riverpast.com/en/support/tutorials/convert/mkv/avi.php
