Problem with AVI to DVD

Hi,

I have been bakcing up SDVD for some time now.

I have been doing a few AVI to DVD conversions.

But i have hit a stumbling block.

My currecnt project is using an AVI that i have cobbled together of about 650Mb

I used TMPGEnc to extract video and audio streams
I used IFOEdit to author DVD
I used Nero to create ISO
and
Daemon Tools to view ISO

I got no sound and the file got stuck near end

I invetiagted and found that TMPGEnc had created about 10Gb of stuff from that 650Mb and had taken about 7.5 hours to do so.

so I read the Sticky above about TMPGEnc problems relating to sound.

I thereofore

Extracted video with TMPGEnce
Extracted Audio with GoldWave
Used IFOEdit to author
Nero to create ISO
and Daemon to view

Still no sound

The VOB's all have the correct, and in-sync audio.

I even tried running VOB's thru DVD Shrink to no avail.

Any suggestions what i am ding wrong here???
