I want to capture a movie as VCD format with letterboxing.Is it possible with any program ??

AFAIK no you can't if you want to put it on CD. I've done a few VCD's with 16:9 because that is the only aspect I shoot my video in but I put the 16:9 on a black 4:3 background, so it was really a 4:3 with "black bars" that were part of the video top and bottom. Works fine for a 4:3 TV, just not as well for a widescreen TV becuase you lose so much of the video to the black bars.
