I am running windows xp prof, my 20gb hd is partitioned three ways into two 10 gb drives c:/ and d:/.
My comp reads c:/ drive as having a total of 10 gbs in total with 4 gbs free and 6 gbs used when i right click the drive and look at it's properties.
However, when I manually highlight all the folders and files on c:\ the comp displays from all the files on c:\ only 4 gbs is used, not the 6gbs as displayed from the drive properties?
I have run scandisk and everything and the drive is fine, as well as the other partition.
Does anybody know if my comp is readin free disk space wrong? Can it be because of the partition? And I turned off hidden files just in case the comp didin't include hidden files in the total.
