  1. I had never had problems splitting my divxs into 2 parts before converting them to svcds later. I would usually save the wave first, and then use at sound source and split the file. But lately of of my divxs had sound out of sync after splitting. I tried using TMPGEnc to use the wave as audio source, but it was still out of sync. I tried using the steps on http://www.vcdhelp.com/sync.htm , but that didn't help. May be there are some options I need to set in Virtual Dub or something else?

  2. Hi LeonZ,

    You should try to convert from DIVX to SVCD in one file and after you've created your MPEG file cut it with TMGEnc.

    that's the way I do it too but than in VCD format.
    I encode the whole divx (whole movie without splitting) to mpeg1 and split it with VCDcutter
    the damn thing stays in sync so I do something good
