I've got some video footage that I took off a DVD.
I've compressed it so that it's about 1.4GB.
The movie clip plays fine in Windows Media Player.
The problem is that the clip won't load anywhere else.
I've tried Adobe Premiere.
On the same machine it loads in Sorenson Squeeze.
But... on another machine with Squeeze, it doesn't load.
I can maybe put that down to codecs, but I'm baffled why it won't load in Premier on my first PC.
I went for a standard compression, MPEG4 2.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

I don't know, but I had a similar problem.
I took an OGM and stripped out the Japanese audio. Done it several times with no problem so I can edit it. However, I did three at once, and the first two keep crashing every editing program I have. However, the third one worked just fine. The other two that I can't edit are still totally watchable.
