  1. Hi. I am trying to capture a few small segments from a DVD using Xilisoft's DVD Ripper. I have the DIVX 6.0 codec on my Win XP PC (3.0 proc, 1 gig ram, etc..). When I capture the segment the audio gets out of sync and I get an occasional pause or 'jerk' in the motion. The clip I'm working on is about 3 minutes. Has anyone had good luck with this product? The thing I like about it is you can preview the video and pick right where you want to capture and end the clip. Are there better codecs around to do this or is DIVX about the best quality? Or is there any better software? I know about DVD2AVI and Virtual DUB but I kind of like the interface and preview features of the Xilisoft product. Thanks in advance.
