  1. You know how Nero Vision Express lets you lower the quality of the video so you can put more minutes of video on a DVD, how would I do that with DVD lab pro? I would use Nero, but it came bundled with my DVD player and I hate the preset menu formats.

I use VSO DivX to DVD to first convert from AVI and then import it in DVD lab pro. Would I lower the AVI's quality first, or after conversion? Or, I haven't found a way yet, but can I do this in DVD lab pro?

    Thanks in advance.

use an converter where you can set the output size like tmpgenc, tmpgenc xpress. then you don't have to shrink with dvd-lab pro.

or author to hd with dvd-lab pro, ignore that it is too big. shrink it with dvd shrink.
