my young 1 has this in his bedroom but went to play a movie on it the other day and all that appears on the screen is no disc loaded it's region free have tried region 2,1 and region free movies, any help, cheers.

could be that they have stuck something in it,or it may be that the cheap mechanism inside has packed up.
my kids alba dvd55,the disc had knocked the laser cap off and jammed the motor from allowing the laser to move,thus the "no disc" error.
best bet,take it apart and check,if its less than a year,take it back--is that the one from tescos.? and invest in a cheap £20 asda pacific player.

here rottenfox guess what i took all the screws out of the laser housing and left them out damn thing works fine now oh and gashed my finger whilst in the process. lol
