chapters not working when recoding DVD movie using Nero

I have made a DVD movie which includes a menu page and chapters. I am trying to load it into my computer and it does not load the menu page with chapters that work. I get what looks like a screen shot of the menu page, but I am not able to click on the chapters and have them work. How do I load this so that it is exactly as I burned it the first place?

load what? the vobs/video_ts folder? or a nero project file? you can't get the menu if you open the vob or video_ts folder, you must then recreate the menu or use something like dvdremake.

It almost sounds to me like you're just playing the VIDEO_TS.VOB file. Try using decent playback software such as PowerDVD, WinDVD or even IFOEdit's inbuilt player and make sure you load the VIDEO_TS.IFO file. It should then mimck the behaviour you are expecting.
