  1. hey,

    is there any possibilty that i can convert a 320x240 video into 720x576 without quality loss????

    I really don't think so. IMO your best bet is to encode to 352x240. 320x240 isn't great resolution anyway so increasing it will more than likely just produce macroblocks.

    IMHO, no, no possible way.

    You'd be relying on your encoding software to be "guessing" the contents of roughly 80% of the pixels per frame, and no encoding software I know of is gonna pull that off, while keeping the quality of the original. Converting something to DVD specs doesn't automagically make it DVD quality

    Depends on the source, if you take a high quality source you'll see the difference immediately. It will appear softer with less detail. VHS is not that great a source so it won't be that noticeable.
