  4. Can you cook whole pieces of chicken in the George Forman Grill (with the bone in), or does it only take chicken breasts?

Anyway - beside the fact that they used to advertise it in those long run late nite infomercials, which should have aleady tell you its a scam - why would any of you buy a grill from *George Foreman* ?
The dude is a BOXER for Christ sake, what he has to do with grills at all?

When my Cuisinart poops out I'll get another GF grill.

They aren't a scam. They work great. Just can't keep
the Teflon on the blasted thing!!!

George didn't invent it. Probably just using his 'personality'
    to sell them.

In the 60's we had some small grills that were similar. They
were for making burgers only. They had 2 halves that clamped
together. The GF grill really isn't a new invention. Just a different
    way of marketing it.

    @JohnnyCNote.............

I think it would only burn the top and bottom because that's the
only part of the chicken that touches the grill.

    I never tried it though.

  7. There's a Russian dish "tsyplyana tabaka", where they put a chicken in a griddle (like a waffle iron) and press it flat. It crushes the bones but it's very good. I was hoping the GF Grill would do something similar.

I had one of those hamburger cookers many years ago and it was great....

No, it wouldn't do that. There's not that much pressure it puts on it. Unless you put something heavy on the lid.
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

  11. I guess I could sit on it, because it does look like a toilet seat lid, but it would make it hard to fix the other side dishes. Darn....

I found out my girlfriend have GF grill
Its the large model, at least it seem big to me.
It did very good job on grilled chicken breasts, both sides were grilled very even. I dont know what you guys were complaining about?

The 'fat drip tray' is too small though, I agree. It is meant for chicken or other lean animals IMO, not some greasy burgers etc. I'd say its a design flaw. My swiss grill has it way bigger.
And cleaning GF grill afterward was a plain nightmare IMO!

Shame on George Foreman for signing up such imperfect kitchenware
