be more specific about your problems, and spend some time with the manual. Encore requires layers be named correctly and other very piccy requirements hat something like DVD Lab Pro doesn't have. It's like Adobe set out to make Encore harder to use than it needs to be.

  3. If you are using Encore with Photoshop it really isn't that hard. It's all about the nameing of the layers that needs to be done correctly.

The best way to figure it out is to open one of the premade menus in Encore. Once you have it open in Encore. Check it out. Click on some of the items. Such as one of the buttons. You can also turn on the highlights and see what they look like. Then select to edit the menu in Photoshop. When Photoshop opens. Take note on how the layers are named.

I know that each button uses layer groups. This is all off the top of my head here, but for example if you wanted to create a hihglight, you would create a new layer within your buttons group and name that layer "(=1) highlight" without the qoutes. Video overlays have different codes "(%) video". It's just a matter of checking them out with a menu that is already created. Each Button's Layer Group Must have a (+) in front of it like so "(+) Main Menu" minus the quotes.

For the most part everything else goes inside. All fiters, blending modes, and layer styles. These come in very handy when you are doing something with a Video background and can make for so cool effects but I digress.

If this makes no sense. Please feel free to PM me. It is late here and I was about to go to bed before I came across your post.
