  1. I have a Xvid file that has AC3 audio and I'm trying to encode it using AviSynth, but it doesn't recognize AC3 input. So it there a commandline or something that I use so the audio is ignored or is there a program that will demultiplex the video not just the audio?

  2. Hi-

    Either remove the audio from the video before sending it to the encoder, or add:

    KillAudio()

    to the script.

    To remove the audio, open the AVI in VDubMod, set the Video for Direct Stream Copy. Then go Streams->Streams List, and Disable the audio. Save it under a new name.
