Just an opinion poll for those of you who have 64 bit PC or intend to buy one.
What are your opinions. Is it worth upgrading to Windows XP Professional X64 bit OS.
I personally feel that 64 bit drivers is needed for all hardware before the move. I would need to see more software supporting 64 bit.

I voted yes, but maybe 'undecided' is more correct. I still have beta drivers for my motherboard, and there aren't that many native 64 bit programs out there. Some 32 bit programs won't run.
One compatibility list is here: http://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showforum=151
It can be inconvenient at times, but overall I think it's worth it. The OS has a good security system. Seems to respond quickly. I still haven't got in there and fine tuned everything. So far I like it better than XP 32 bit. When I am able to use a little more of the potential there, should be even better. -
Hi,
I said no.
Look at windows 95. It took a while for apps to be ready for the 32 bit processors. I'm sure the same thing will true for the 64bit chip. Besides I'm pretty happy with a 2.66ghz 32bit celeron so I don't plan on upgrading to a 64bit chip anytime soon.
