I'm trying to backup a DVD that has LPCM audio which takes up a whopping 1.5Gb on the DVD. When I attempt to backup the DVD using DVDShrink the compression is set to 39.9 - way too low for me.
Is there anyway to convert this LPCM audio to AC3 so I could save enough space to backup the DVD with a decent compression level ?

I would use DVDDecrypter->IFO Mode->Stream Processing->Demux(go to Settings->IFO Mode and set File Splitting to none).
Then use ffmpeggui to convert LPCM to AC3.
Then use IFOEdit,DVDLab,etc to author.
