    hi i have a friend that i nthe est coast, and wants me to send a music folder but its like morethan 1gb in size.. i tried my email(gmail) but it's limit is 10mb
    is there a site or sumplace thati can upload the folder so that my friend can copy it on to her comp?

    With a file that big your best bet would be splitting it into multiple files and send it in pieces. Either that or use one of those peer to peer file sharing services.

  3. well yeah as coal said or best bet wud be 2 setup a ftp server using hfs and all and just let ur pal d/l.u can always use u/l servers like rapidshare,usendit,ushareit,etc...

    um ..how about sending a folder.. instead of just a file how can i do this?

    Won't make a difference, and most email programs won't attach a folder - you would still have to zip it. I don't know any admin who would allow such large attachments into their email system to begin with. Even on a T1 that would take too long to process and would flood the connection. ON a QOS controlled line it would take hours to process.
