Recently got an Apex 1500. Brilliant machine. Plays just about everything even, kinda, MiniDVD.
I have a bunch of SVCD's and it plays them nice. However, only one of these will let me use the GOTO button to jump to any part of the movie. Some of the other SVCD's don't let me jump at all while others allow me to go as far as 15 minutes into the movie (GOTO 15:00) but not any further (so, GOTO 20:00 would either not work or put me at the same spot as GOTO 15:00). Now fast forwarding through a movie till you're at the place you want to be sucks.
What is it that makes one SVCD completely "browsable" through the GOTO button and the other not? (PS: got the scandata and all that - I can fast forward which every way I want).

I bet you have not tried VCDImager, haven't you? Go download one and you won't have those problems again. You can try TSCV (VCDImager's GUI) if you don't know how to write your own xml code. With VCDImager you can have chapters and flexible menu also.

dawolf42: i have the same problem but it's the same for all svcd's that i burn, and play on my Pioneer XV-HTD1. I use ULead Video Studio 5 and Nero 5.5.1.9. No such problems with VCD's (original and burnt). Any solutions?
Thanks,
Kiko
