  1. is it possible to multiplex MPEG ASP from a DIVX (or XVID) into a VOB ?
    it could be very interesting to test this on a standalone DVD player with
    Divx compliance.

    Burn the DVIX file to a DVD (ISO) and it will play on a DVIX compliant player. Some players will not play them if the resolution is over 720x480.

    I talking about Multiplexing the DIVX data inside a VOB.

    We can put AC3 from a VOB into an AVI, in the same way, is it possible to
    the inverse: put the video part of a DIVX in a VOB

    no real reason it could not - other than someone has not written an application to do so --- well yes they have for HD-DVD and bluray , but structure is different ..

  8. I'm going to test it right now. is there any tool to demultiplex th evideo stream of an AVI container ? I know VirtualDubMod can do that only dor audio stream.

  9. I have made a litle AVI demultiplexer, IfoEDit refuse my data, even using .m2v file extension. Do you know any other VOB maker ?

    maybe dvdauthor...but I think most will do some stream checks.

    moonlight cordless Xmuxer will mux to VOB , but i think stream check

    basicly you need some CLI type that ignores stream type ... but buffer level and pack will be screwed up
