Using Panasonic DVD Recorder to transfer SKY + progs or VHS to PC, edit then re burn. Was getting a lot of coasters thru my recorder not liking the media I was using, reverted back to DVD RAM disk and drag and drop to the HD. That started giving probs too, smart ripper is no use cos the panny doesnt seem to record in UDF mode (dvd decrypter asks if a valid dvd is present) so have to rip ISO mode in decrypter. How do I go about editing from here? I use TMPGENC DVD Author to make chapters etc.

  2. Maybe ISOBuster to take out what is in the iso. You can try to copy the vobs with vStrip for the future.

  3. I have the same setup and I just copy the files directly from the RAM disc to the HD, no problem. The only time I had difficulty was when InCD was on the HD and it blocked my from any access to the disc. Totally uninstalling it solved the problem.
Still a few bugs in the system...

Chas I said in another post, sometimes Im getting a split screen either watching the mpg in winamp or when making chapters in tmpgenc. I tried adding the iso to deamon tools and then adding the video to tmpgenc dvd author and i got the error 'only 1 file type or aspect ratio either 4;3 or 16:9' do you think this is the problem cos my dvd recorder may be set to record on widescreen?
