How do I convert an Avi file that is Dolby Digital (surround sound, where the music and action is much louder than dialouges) to a regular one level sound Avi file. It's too much of a bother to raise the volume higher and then lower it all of a sudden? I use Nero to burn my movies, is there a setting in Nero to keep the volume throughout the entire movie consistent?

In Nero there is Audio Settings to Dolby Digital, Automatic and then there is LPCM, what's Automatic and LPCM?? What coverter or software can I use to change the Dolby Digital to a regular one volume setting where everything sounds even...??? Help Plz!!!

    Thanks for the help folks!!

What you need is something that can normalise the audio for you. Most audio editors can do it, but few will import an AC3 file.
