    Hello, I have used WinAVI to convert a divX film to Mpeg but the converted film was full of blocky artifacts making it unwatchable. Can somebody recommend another convertor, preferably freeware (but not essential).

    cheers Baldrick, the DivxToDVD worked great guns. Why does this work where WinAvi doesn't?
