  1. When I try to Join 2 AVI files in VirtualDub I got this error:



    How can I fix it?

    Search Comp PM
    Reencode the audio so they are same. You can't mix different audio.

    Check under File->Information to view the audio details.
    Change codec Under Audio->Compression.
    Set Video->Direct Stream Copy.
    Save as a new avi.

    Ok I'm trying to do the same thing and have the same problem. I did like you said and now the audio is out of sinc. And it gets worse as the show goes on. Is their a way to re-record the audio so it's a different rate but is still in sinc with the video???? A freind told me to stick a mic by the speakers and record it like that in a different rate.<--- The same as the other AVI. But that sounds stupid...... right???
