hi,having problem watching my vcds with vcd software players

hi,

after burnning my vcds with nero the vcds dosent start automatically while played by vcd's software players...im getting error message saying :

"fail to playback the file f:\segment\item0001.dat"


*while burned it i unchecked the "create compliant cd" check in nero

*i think i burned some of my vcds using different resolution and bitrate than (s)vcd's one

*in windows media player and on my dvd player i can play them well...

does someone knows the reason for that problem maybe?

try some dvd player software like powerdvd.. or trying playing the .DAT file on the VCD with WMP

Your VCD playing software appears to not like non-compliant VCDs, so I think you answered your own question.
