  1. I have copied a dvd with 3 diff. audio option and only one that work is the dts 5.1 audio while the ac3 and 2 channel options does not work. The thing is I can only hear sound on one of my JVC dvd player, the apex, Samsung, none will play the sound. Any one have any idea why I can't hear dts 5.1 sound on the regular dvd? I am assuming this copied dvd leave out the ac3 and 2 channel audio but why I can't hear any thing with dts 5.1 on most of the dvd player except the JVC.

dts will only play on dts capable dvd players and with capable audio equipment (not through rca cables)..

also, the dts track may be the first audio track in the dvd, so you might have to go through the menu to select the ac3/2.0 track.

  3. My apex said that it is dts output, what cable do I need to get to hear it? I know I am using RCA output. Thanks.

you'll probably need to use the optical or digital coax output on it.. and that cable will need to run to a dts reciever.. rca cables will not work.
