WinAvi, Advanced X Player encounter problem and need close

Hi all, this is my first post to the forums, I try my best to read most of the rules and guidelines and do many searches on this forums to find the solutions to the problems. But with no lucks, so my last resource was to post the problem here, hoping someone would be kind enough to show me the solutions.

Here is my problem.

I got a 4.3 GB MPEG 2 files which i have converted from AVI using Tmpeg plus.

So the next step is to make it watchable on any standalone DVD players. However, when I attempted to use WinAVI 6 or Advanced X Video to convert the MPEG 2 to VOB files i get the following errros



Might it be the size, codec, or just the software im using ?

Can someone suggest a good, reliable software that i could use to convert MPEG 2 files to VOB files and play it on the DVD.

I got that now and is work but I dont understand why the others doesnt work when the size is that large.
