Hi. What I want to do is take DVDs I have, and with a microphone or whatever record my voice over parts of the audio or all of the audio on the copy DVD. So the original stays the same obviously, and then the copy has my added audio on it. I'm presuming this is most cheapest done by a computer program with a microphone so here's my questions.

What is the cheapest way to do this?
    Are there any reasonable alternatives?

Sorry, I'm a total noob at this and don't know anything about it. Hope someone can help me out here, thanks.

I can see that this is your first post. Let's see what we can do.

These fora are peopled by many experts, all of whom will stoop to help if they felt that you've done your best. Have you? You have to read, and read, and learn.

    Now here goes:

Decrypt your DVD to your HD. Play the audio, and record your voice on the portions of your preference. Then transfer the recording from tape to digital form in your HD. Reencode if necessary.

Now reconstruct your DVD with this second audio track, and burn on a DVD blank.

Obviously, this is a skeleton. Fill it up with blood and muscle tissue with the help of reading more.

    Thanks.
